What is pyelonephritis?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pyelonephritis is a condition in which bacteria travel up to the kidneys through the urethra (the passage through which urine passes) during cystitis, causing kidney infection and inflammation. Cystitis often occurs first, but it can also occur without cystitis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
