Clinic Introduction

A Community-Based Primary Care Practice with Over Four Decades of Local Medical Heritage

Minamigaoka Clinic carries on the legacy of its predecessor, Minamigaoka Medical Clinic, which was founded in 1978, bringing more than 40 years of continuous community healthcare service to the region. The clinic maintains a collaborative referral network with Minamigaoka Hospital and other medical institutions as needed, and is equipped to accommodate a broad range of public medical assistance programs, including public welfare benefits, designated intractable disease programs, and services under the Act for Welfare of Persons with Physical Disabilities. With a strong commitment to home-based care — encompassing home self-injection therapy and home oxygen therapy — the clinic provides medicine that is genuinely integrated into the daily lives of the local community.

Comprehensive Internal Medicine Expertise and an Infection-Controlled Clinical Environment

The clinic’s director, Dr. Yoshiko Mukosaka, is a graduate of Kanazawa Medical University and holds a doctorate in medicine. She is an active member of multiple professional societies, including the Japan Respiratory Society, the Japan Diabetes Society, and the Japanese Society of Allergology. Dr. Mukosaka provides comprehensive internal medicine care encompassing diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular disease, respiratory conditions, and allergic disorders, welcoming both patients with confirmed symptoms and those who have concerns about a possible underlying condition. For patients presenting with fever or cold-like symptoms, a dedicated care pathway has been established — requiring advance telephone registration and completion of a pre-consultation questionnaire — to ensure a safe and thoroughly infection-controlled clinical environment.

Located in Umakae, Kanazawa — Welcoming Patients from the Ogidai and Nuka Communities

The clinic is located at 136 Umakae 2-chome, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, within the Schöne Alt Minami building. Consultation hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; the clinic is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Clinic Introduction

A Community Clinic Serving Three Roles: Primary Care Physician, Medical Specialist, and Specialist Referral Provider

Ueno Medical Clinic is a multi-functional community practice fulfilling three distinct roles: an accessible primary care physician for everyday health concerns, a specialist in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, and a referral provider connecting patients with appropriate specialty facilities. The clinic director brings approximately 26 years of experience as a gastrointestinal surgeon and approximately 15 years as a general internist, with a medical career spanning more than 40 years. Building on the tradition of community medicine inherited from his grandfather and father, he has completed the Advanced Course of the Japan Medical Association’s Primary Care Physician Function Training Program and is equipped to address a broad range of medical needs.

A Care Philosophy Centered on Early Detection and Treatment, Backed by Comprehensive Facilities

The clinic offers internal medicine with a focus on gastroenterology, as well as general surgery, guided by the principle that early detection and early treatment of disease reduces the burden on patients and promotes faster recovery. Regular preventive health check-ups are also actively encouraged. High-quality care is delivered through the use of an online eligibility verification system, and the clinic is advancing implementation of electronic prescriptions and an electronic medical record information sharing service. Facilities are also in place to receive patients presenting with fever or suspected infectious disease.

Supporting the Health of the Local Community from Kodatsuno, Kanazawa

The clinic is located at 3-14-5 Kodatsuno, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture — the very neighborhood where the clinic director was born and raised. Patients with fever or symptoms of an infectious disease are kindly asked to contact the clinic by phone before visiting. The director expresses his dedication to the community as follows: “Drawing on the experience I have accumulated over the years, I hope to continue refining my skills and to play a meaningful role in supporting the health of everyone in our community.” The clinic provides care deeply rooted in the local area, offering consultations not only on health concerns but also on nursing care, insurance, and welfare services.

About Creating the Clinic Introduction

We regret to inform you that we are unable to create a clinic introduction based on the information provided on this occasion.

A fundamental principle of my writing policy strictly prohibits the fabrication of information that has not been provided. If an introduction were written without any verifiable information to draw from, every element of the content would amount to pure invention — resulting in a description of a medical institution that is both factually inaccurate and professionally dishonest.

A Clinic Providing Comprehensive Support — From Developmental and Habilitation Therapy to Sick-Child Daycare

At Yokoi Pediatrics and Internal Medicine Clinic, we offer comprehensive medical care that encompasses consultations on child development and habilitation therapy. All specialty consultations — including childcare, genetic counseling, developmental assessment, and nocturnal enuresis — are conducted by appointment to ensure that each child and family receives sufficient, dedicated time. We are committed to attentively addressing the concerns of children with disabilities and their families with genuine care and compassion. Our sick-child daycare service also accepts same-day registrations between 7:20 and 7:35 a.m., providing broad support to families who are balancing work and child-rearing.

Supporting Your Child’s Healthy Growth Through Attentive Care and Preventive Medicine

Our clinic operates under the joint leadership of Director Dr. Toru Yokoi and Associate Director Dr. Ayano Yokoi. Our guiding philosophy is to deliver comprehensive care for every child, with developmental support and habilitation therapy as integral components of each patient’s overall treatment plan. All specialist consultations are by appointment, and we take as much time as necessary so that families leave feeling fully informed and reassured. We recommend beginning vaccinations as early as two months of age. Children presenting with fever are managed through a structured triage protocol, and we maintain rigorous infection control practices throughout the clinic.

Please Call Before Your Visit — Register Us as Your Trusted Family Doctor for Any Concern

We kindly ask that you call ahead to schedule appointments for first-time visits, routine health check-ups, and all specialty consultations. If your child has a fever, please also contact us in advance before coming in. When visiting the clinic, please bring and present your health insurance eligibility verification card or My Number Card, along with your child’s medical assistance certificate. Appointments and inquiries are accepted by both phone and email; outside of office hours, please leave a message on our answering machine. Clinic Introduction

A Facial Specialist Clinic Exclusively Focused on Eyelids, Nose, Facial Contour, and Perioral Area

We are a cosmetic surgery clinic dedicated exclusively to the eyelids, nose, facial contour, and perioral area — we do not treat any other part of the body. Our team includes highly experienced specialist surgeons with more than 20 years of surgical experience in both rhinoplasty and facial contouring procedures, bringing proven expertise to every patient’s concerns. All consultations are conducted directly by our physicians; non-licensed staff are never involved in the consultation process. The hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin products we use are exclusively those approved by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) or the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We also provide revision surgery for patients who have undergone procedures at other clinics.

A Treatment Philosophy Dedicated to Natural Results, Backed by High-Precision Surgical Technology

Our clinical philosophy is grounded in the pursuit of a natural appearance and overall facial harmony. Surgeries are performed using high-precision surgical loupes, operative microscopes, and a high-frequency electrosurgical scalpel, enabling meticulous tissue handling and improved postoperative recovery. Discomfort is minimized through local anesthesia administered with specialized fine-gauge needles, and same-day bilateral eyelid surgery is available. As a general policy, we do not perform surgery on the day of the initial consultation; every procedure is carried out following careful diagnosis and thorough treatment planning. We also actively accommodate postoperative touch-up treatments whenever needed.

Complimentary On-Site Parking and Attentive, Personalized Care for Every Patient

Complimentary parking is available directly on the clinic premises. Patients traveling from a distance are asked to attend an in-person consultation prior to surgery to ensure accurate diagnosis and assessment. If you would prefer to be seen by a female physician, please inform us at the time of booking. We design individualized treatment plans with careful attention to each patient’s unique anatomy — including muscle tone and eyelid thickness — while always keeping overall facial harmony in mind. Our commitment is to stand by every patient throughout their journey, proactively offering touch-up and revision treatments whenever there is even the slightest concern.
