Overview

Many dermatological conditions—such as contact dermatitis and herpes—often involve symptoms like itching and pain. When these symptoms appear on visible areas of the body, they can also affect emotional well-being, causing concerns about how others perceive you or making you hesitant to go out. Have you been leaving certain symptoms untreated because you feel there is nothing you can do, or managing them only with temporary, symptomatic relief? It is true that most dermatological problems are rarely life-threatening. However, by appropriately addressing distressing symptoms such as pain and itching—and no longer having to worry about appearance—your quality of life can improve significantly. Why not start by consulting a doctor? We would be happy to support you every step of the way.

Information

At our clinic, we primarily provide general dermatology care for the busy residents of Shibuya, focusing on treatments using topical and oral medications as your primary care dermatology clinic. Accordingly, for conditions such as epidermoid cysts, corns, acrochordons (skin tags), and warts that require surgical treatment, laser therapy, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen, or other surgical interventions, we will first conduct a consultation and then refer you to an affiliated medical institution where the aforementioned treatments are available. We kindly ask for your understanding and encourage you to visit us with this in mind.

Clinic TEN Dermatology Features

We do not recommend private medical treatment easily.

We do not recommend private medical treatment easily.

We do not recommend private medical treatment easily.

At our clinic, we never recommend expensive non-covered treatment right away. If there are areas that can be treated with insurance-covered treatment depending on each patient’s skin condition, we often start with insurance-covered treatment even if the patient requests non-covered treatment. Through careful examinations, we identify the true problems each patient has and provide full support to help them achieve and maintain beautiful skin in the shortest time possible.

Thorough, evidence-driven

Thorough, evidence-driven

At our clinic, we offer only treatments that are firmly supported by medical evidence, including both insurance-covered and self-pay (private) medical services. We do not provide expensive intravenous infusions of questionable effectiveness or so-called “secret” topical treatments without scientific validation. Instead, in accordance with the guidelines of the American Academy of Dermatology, we adhere to evidence-based fundamentals and are committed to providing honest, proven medical care that has been demonstrated to be effective in helping patients maintain healthy, beautiful skin.
